Post School of Highland Dancers, Inc. Midlands Highland Dancers
Welcome to the site of the Post School of Highland Dance, Inc.'s Midlands Highland Dancers!  We are a fun-filled group of dancers that enjoy practicing, performing and embracing Scottish culture through music and dance. We hold weekly classes in Omaha and Ashland teaching Scottish Highland Dancing.

We also have a live piper in the Omaha class regularly, Dance "Dad & Husband" Don, livens up the experience and provide a fun way to practice at different tempos and with varying tunes.

The members of the class and performance group performed at many events during 2007 and are looking forward to performing in our area in the coming year.  We  also teamed up with the Strathdon Caledonia Pipe Band for concerts as part of their Highland Outreach Program, which promotes Scottish culture through music and dance, and will be continuing with this effort in 2008 with the band.  The dancers also competed throughout the United States, and are enjoying into the 2008 competition season.

The first annual Midlands Celtic Festival was a hit this year.  The dance competition had a good showing of dancers from around the region, and Canada!  The dancers worked very hard with the planning and implementation of the festival.
