Michele began Highland Dancing as a child. She competed and performed in the Southwest region up through the Premier level. Since she stopped competing, she continued to perform at various Scottish Society of Nebraska functions and with the Omaha Pipes and Drums. She contributed so much to enriching young people with her enthusiasm for dance, and inspired all in our class with her grace and kindness.
Michele was a teacher by profession, at Norris Middle School, where she taught Spanish and French. Her experience in this field showed greatly when assisting younger dancers with learning new dances.
Michele was a wonderful mother, daugher, sister and friend. We will miss her in class and in our hearts.
